I just wanted to say I got a Weber Silver Bell for my Classic 30.
Wow it sounds great, the speaker was used so it needs a little more break in time but already it has improved clarity, bass, pretty much everything over the stock one.

I am a Weber believer and need to find one for my blues jr now!

Welcome to our mids, '59! The Silver Bell is a nice little speaker, isn't it. The 1230s baby brother, in a matter of speaking. Did you go with alnico or ceramic?

Mine is ceramic with light dope.

It is amazing the difference it made in that amp.  I liked it ok with the stock speaker but I am not afraid to say I really like it now.

The speaker(s) and valves are by far the easiest way to alter and hopefully improve one's tone. The ones that come as stock often leave a lot to wish for, imho... ;)

I am starting to think that one of the major differences between higher end amp and lower end amps are speakers.
I know don't flame me, they use better parts in a dr z. than they do in a valveking but they also use better speakers!
should i hide now??
